For 4-6 servings:
1 kg potatoes
2-3 large onions, finely sliced
100 g smoked vegan bacon (or smoked tofu), finely cut
2 – 3 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste
Peel the potatoes and boil them whole. Drain the water and cut the cooked potatoes into slices.
Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the onions. Fry on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions soften.
Add the vegan bacon (or smoked tofu), potatoes, salt and pepper. Stir occasionally, taking care not to crush the potatoes.
It is ready when the potatoes are slightly browned.
Serve as side dish and/or with salad (in the picture below are served with sauerkraut German style).
Pentru 4-6 portii:
1 kg cartofi
2-3 cepe mari, taiate fin
100 g sunca vegana afumata (sau tofu afumat), taiata marunt
2-3 linguri ulei de masline
sare si piper, dupa gust
Cartofii se cojesc si se fierb intregi. Se scurg de apa si se taie feliute.
Intr-o tigaie/cratita se incinge uleiul si se adauga ceapa. Se caleste la foc mediu, amestecand din cand in cand, pana cand ceapa se inmoaie.
Se adauga sunca vegana (sau tofu afumat) si cartofii si se potriveste de sare si piper. Se amesteca din cand in cand, cu grija sa nu strivim cartofii.
Este gata cand cartofii sunt putin rumeniti.
Se servesc ca garnitura sau/si cu salate (in poza de mai jos sunt serviti impreuna cu varza calita in stil german).
