For 2-3 servings:
500 g Brussels sprouts, trimmed
350 g tempeh (or tofu), cubed
2 onions, finely sliced
2 teaspoons dill (dried or fresh), finely chopped
2 tablespoons tomato paste
salt and pepper, to taste
4 tablespoons olive oil
Fry the tempeh (tofu) in 3 tablespoons of oil until golden brown.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan and add the onions. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, add the Brussels sprouts and 2 tablespoons of water.
Cover and simmer , stirring regularly. When the water has evaporated add again 1-2 tablespoons of water.
When the Brussels sprouts are tender (6-7 minutes) add the tomato paste diluted in very little water, dill, salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
At the end add the tempeh and mix.
Serve with salad or pickles.
For weight loss bake the tempeh (tofu) in the oven without using oil.
Pentru 2-3 portii:
500 g varza de bruxelles, curatata si spalata
350 g tempeh (se poate inlocui cu tofu), taiat cubulete
2 cepe, taiate pestisori
2 lingurite marar (uscat sau proaspat), taiat fin
2 linguri bulion de rosii
sare si piper, dupa gust
4 linguri ulei de masline
Se prajeste tempeh-ul (tofu) in 3 linguri de ulei pana cand se rumeneste.
Intr-o cratita se incinge o lingura de ulei si se adauga ceapa. Se inabusa 2-3 minute, amestecand din cand in cand, se adauga varza de bruxelles si 2 linguri de apa. Se acopera si se amesteca regulat. Cand apa s-a evaporat se mai adauga 1-2 linguri de apa. Cand varza s-a inmuiat ( 6-7 minute) se adauga bulionul de rosii dizolvat in foarte putina apa, mararul si se potriveste de sare si piper. Se continua fierberea pentru inca 3-4 minute.
La sfarsit se adauga tempehul si se amesteca.
Se poate servi cu diverse salate sau cu muraturi.
Pentru slabit se va rumeni tempeh-ul (tofu) in cuptor, fara a adauga ulei.
